- ENERGY TRANSITION
Energy audit for pump installations
Independent energy audit with on-site flow, pressure, and power measurements. You receive a substantiated business case, EIA tax benefit, and a report that complies with the energy saving information obligation.
- WHY AN ENERGY AUDIT FOR POMPEM?
Why an energy check of your pump installations?
Industries that work with liquids – food, pharmaceuticals, dairy, breweries, and water treatment – consume enormous amounts of energy daily through their pumping systems. Often, these installations run unnoticed outside their optimal operating range for years.
An energy audit of your pumping systems provides immediate insight into savings potential, payback period, and potential subsidy benefits such as the Energy Investment Allowance (EIA). You receive a business case based on actual measurements, rather than an estimate.

- BENEFITS OF AN ENERGY AUDIT
What are the benefits of an energy audit?
An energy audit is not just a measurement; it is the basis for a well-founded investment decision and demonstrable sustainability.
Lower energy costs
Up to 70% power consumption reduction through optimal dimensioning, frequency control, and correct operating points.
CO₂ reduction
Demonstrable contribution to climate objectives and ESG reporting with measurable CO₂ savings per installation.
Comply with the law
Reporting in accordance with the energy saving information obligation, submitted via the Inventflow Service Center.
Tax benefit
Up to 40% of the investment in energy-efficient pumps deductible via the EIA scheme, net benefit approximately 10%.
- OUR APPROACH
How does an energy audit work at Inventflow?
From data analysis to business case: a structured process with measurable outcomes.
First inventory
Are you already using our services? Service Center, then we can use this data to conduct an initial inventory, with which we can demonstrate the feasibility of the study. Installations with the most potential are selected for the potential energy audit based on kWh savings, CO₂ savings, and payback period.
On-site measurement
For the execution of the energy audit, various measurements are performed to map the load profile of the system. Flow, pressure, and power consumption are logged.
Selection & sizing
The sizing of new pumps is based on the actual load profile and can be done very accurately (+/- 5%).
Business case
Concrete proposal with savings, investment, and payback period – immediately usable for your EIA application.
- Investment & ROI
- EIA substantiation
- CO₂ reporting
- WHY NOW?
Four reasons to inspect your pumps today
Due to rising energy prices, grid congestion, and stricter legislation, an energy audit is more relevant than ever. Waiting costs money and capacity.
Many companies are legally required to report their energy consumption. Our energy audit fulfills this requirement and provides all necessary documentation directly through our Service Center.
Energy-efficient pumps reduce pressure on the electricity grid and provide room to grow within your production capacity.
Pumps account for 10% of global electricity consumption. By optimizing inefficient systems, you directly contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions.
With the Energy Investment Deduction (EIA), you can deduct 40% from your taxable profit for investments in sustainable pump solutions. A strong incentive to invest now.

- LIFE CYCLE COST
85% of your pump costs is in energy
Manufacturing companies have been hit hard by the unprecedented rise in energy prices in recent months. Since 85% of a pump's life cycle cost is energy consumption, energy checks are more relevant than ever.
High energy prices result in a very attractive payback period for installing energy-efficient pumps. To give you a realistic picture of your savings potential, up to 70%, and the payback period for the investment in energy-efficient pumps, we offer energy checks.
- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Energy audit pumps
Answers to your questions
The answer to the most frequently asked questions about our pump scan, EIA subsidy, and energy saving information obligation.
The savings potential can amount to up to 70% of energy consumption per installation. The actual savings depend on the pump type, the current operating points, and the load profile. Since approximately 85% of a pump's lifecycle costs are attributable to energy consumption, optimization usually yields a payback period within one to three years.
Yes. Our energy audit report contains the data required to comply with the statutory energy saving information obligation. All documentation is centrally managed and submitted via the Inventflow Service Center.
