Maintenance with Inventflow
during a production stop

Maintenance with Inventflow

In the food industry, continuity is crucial. Production lines often run almost 24/7, and unexpected downtime is costly. That is why many production companies regularly plan a production stop: a pre-agreed period in which production is stopped to carry out large-scale maintenance. Inventflow supports customers during these intensive days with a well-prepared service team and smart digital support. Everything is aimed at preventing malfunctions and increasing operational reliability.

Tight coordination on location

During a production stop, a full Inventflow service team is on standby. The team consists of a number of mechanics, including a foreman. The foreman acts as a central point of contact for the customer and the work planners, so that the mechanics can fully focus on the technical work. This structure prevents interruptions, speeds up the process and increases safety.

Every mechanic knows exactly what his tasks are. The work varies from replacing bearings and seals to overhauling or even replacing complete pump installations.

Preparation is everything

A successful production stop starts weeks in advance. Inventflow's work planners ensure that all necessary parts, tools and documentation are available on time. During a stop, every minute counts: if materials are missing, the planning is jeopardized.

The close cooperation between the internal service and the fitters is therefore essential. There is daily contact between the foreman on location and the internal service to quickly switch if deviations occur or additional parts are needed.

Also for your valve stop

Valve maintenance is at least as important as pump installation maintenance. They determine the flow, sealing and safety in the process. Worn or poorly functioning valves can lead to leaks, pressure loss or even process disruptions. Click on the button below for our working method and more about valve maintenance and replacement.

Digital maintenance with QR codes and the Service Center

A powerful part of Inventflow's approach is the use of the Service Center and QR codes on installations. Each pump is equipped with a unique QR code that is scanned by the technician with a tablet. This immediately opens the digital maintenance history in the Service Center, in which all work performed is registered.

Mechanics record here per pump what has been done: from inspection and cleaning to complete overhauls. This method provides overview, transparency and an up-to-date maintenance history for both customer and service organization.

Maintenance on site or in our workshop

Most installations can be maintained directly on-site during the shutdown. This includes replacing wear parts, lubrication, adjustment, and testing. Sometimes the pump requires a major overhaul or repair. In that case, it is taken to one of our workshops, where it is completely disassembled, repaired, and retested before being reinstalled.
